Harold and Maude

Posted over 3 years ago
If you are as in love with the movie "Harold and Maude" as I am, you will have already asked yourself "Why can't I find the soundtrack anywhere?"Well, the answer from CatStevens.com is: "A soundtrack was released for Harold And Maude, only in Japan, but did not include the two original songs from the film."(If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out" and "Don't Be Shy") "Apparently they wanted to both boost sales of Cat's actual albums and also encourage fans to go see the movie to hear the new songs."So for all of you who want to make your own soundtrack cd, the order of songs as they appear in the movie is as follows:1. Don't Be Shy2. On the Road to Find Out3. I Wish, I Wish4. Miles From Nowhere5. Tea for the Tillerman6. I Think I See the Light7. Where Do the Children Play8. If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out9. TroubleYou can find "Don't Be Shy", If You Want to Sing Out", "Trouble", On the Road to Find Out", and "Where Do the Children Play" on the anthology "Footsteps in the Dark"You can find "Trouble", I Think I See the Light", and "I Wish, I Wish" on "Mona Bone Jakon".You can find "Tea for the Tillerman", On the Road to Find Out", Miles From Nowhere" and Where Do the Children Play" on "Tea For the Tillerman".And if you're really obsessed, you can record Maude and Harold singing "If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out" off the TV and throw it on there too.
