The Eels, they seem to be one of those groups that are constantly coming out with albums and I constantly don't listen to them. That changed with their recent release called Hombre Lobo. If you don't know who they are then check out there wiki page cause I'm not here to give you a history lesson. Anyhow the new album in my opinion is totally not a good intro for a person new to the Eels. If you listen to Tim you'll hear why and understand that E (lead singer) constantly comes out with new material and changes his sound. But I wasn't aware of this and the album sounded dull and rather nineties been there done that sort of old hack. Don't get me wrong the album isn't horrible and E's vocals are great but many times during this album I felt bored or that I'd heard this sound before. This is one release that I really don't see myself coming back to again and if I do I don't expect my opinion to change. I was gonna end with some pun of the albums name but that would just be crazy.
