I read a review of Waking Ashland's "The Well" last week in AP magazine, and they didn't give it such high praise. I decided to give it a try, and I'm currently working my way through it. I'm on track 9 of 12, and I have to say, its not as bad as AP makes it sound. It starts out really strong, with catchy tunes and such. Towards the end, its getting kind of like "Composure". I'm not hearing much of the pianos we saw in "Composure", but that's not neccesarily a bad thing. I can hear the piano in the background, as opposed to it taking center stage. But it works for them, in my opinion. I've uploaded my favorite track so far, "Money". This one is at the end of the record. It's upbeat, I swear.
