The Format: Super Amazing Awesomness.

It has been a good six months since I first heard of the Format. I stumbled upon a review of their new album, "Dog Problems", and I was intrigued. I read review after review, and they all said that Dog Problems was one of the best albums they had heard in a while. I went and bought it, and I was definitely not disappointed. This album is one of my favorites of 2006 [and trust me, that is a very hard list to get into]. The songs are bright and catchy, and they are crammed with pop melodies. One would think that an album with that much pop would suck, but the Format has managed to pull it off in such a way that by the end of the album, you feel light and happy and alive. One song in particular, The Compromise, can be heard in the game The Sims 2. It's very entertaining to sing along to it in English, even when the lyrics are in Simlish. :]Here is one of my first favorites from this album, Oceans.
