  1. gregster says Hello Justin, SFA are just as good live as on their recordings, if not better. They create an incredible atmosphere. Try their 2nd album Radiator, and also the latest offering Hey Venus!

  3. Sturgell says Hey Justin! It's crazy how a lot of bands really aren't the same band when they perform live. I have a buddy who went to see Animal Collective and said that they were awful live, or rather in his words "a big let down." I hope Super Furry Animals don't strike out the same for ya. Be sure to hook us up with a concert review! cheers

  4. Bartleby says Belle & Sebastian are definitely a band to forward to. Did you see/hear their BBC Xmas special? A real treat for those who don't like Yuletide. I must remember to delve further into SFA. So many people are enjoying them I feel like I've a major band of the noughties. (The droll and oneiric "Crane Wife" is still on heavy rotation two years after its release.)

  5. sonical says Wow, your musical taste/exposure is sure changing. Good to see. Not sure all of these are my cup of tea but will check these out. Is it possible to link these posts to Rhapsody? Would be cool to click to stream these albums and see for myself.

  6. Justin says big al ya, musical tastes/exposure has really expanded over the last few years....it has been a breath of fresh air for sure. definately really into the written song thing these days in contrast to being heavily focused on the improvisational aspects.....this is primarily when i am listening to music in my house or on the train.....when seeing live music, i do go back to the roots. i think you will dig: search "the decemberists" on the mog search....drilldown and click on the "play" button next to the crane wife album and it will stream through rhapsody player. search "super furry animals" on the mog search....drilldown and click on the "play" button next to the love kraft album and it will stream through rhapsody player. i already have neko case's album on my playlist on my page....just click on play all and it will stream through rhapsody player...neko's voice will suck you in.
