Sorry about the delay.
Today's song comes from Ben Kweller, a Texas singer-songwriter. He currently has four studio albums out, his most recent being Changing Horses which came out in February. Not too bad for a guy who's only 27 who just got married and had a kid. Mr. Kweller also has a legendary Austin City Limits appearance under his belt in which he played his entire set with a severe nosebleed. Doesn't get much more punk rock than that for a country kid.
The posted song, called "Penny on the Train Track" comes from his third, self-titled album. It's an addictive little pop gem, not to mention an earworm (you have been warned). Kweller's sure to be around for a long time, and I'm looking forward to what he'll do with a bright musical future ahead of him.

And he wrote a song about me (guess!). What's not to like ;)
oh, Ann Disaster? or, Magic? (haha)
I so love this album, and this song is on countless mixes that I play in my room before school begins
Me too, it's always been a staple on pretty much every mix cd i make for people.
There are not many songs with my name in the title, so I take special pleasure and pride in the fact that this one has both my first and middle name in it ;)
Ahahaha, I would too. And a great song it is at that.
Though If i was feeling especially cheeky that day, I would have said "Wasted & Ready".... :D
