Today's song comes from The Whigs, a band hailing from the musical hotbed of Athens, Georgia. The trio currently have two albums out and have embarked on several cross country tours for various bands. I've seen them twice, once with The Kooks and then with Kings of Leon. They've gotten better each time, as their tour-de-force performance is a throwback to The Who of the late 60's. And trust me, there's virtually no higher compliment coming from me. They really are a band to be experienced, so if they come remotely close to your area go and see for yourself. Or just listen.

Yessir, debut album was called Give 'Em All A Big Fat Lip and i believe, the second, Mission Control, came out in 08.
This is my favorite place to waste time :) Even when I can't waste it, I'll be sure to come here! I'm just making up for lost time with this marathon (well, a marathon for me anyways) week of posting before spring break.
I have read nothing but good things about these guys, and upon first listen I am loving their sound
I find it hard to believe that anyone could say anything bad about them, they're three very nice and genuine guys. They also make completely badass music on top of it all. Highly recommended, if you want to throw a few dollars their way
