so I saw the movie Knocked Up for the second time last night... still hilarious. Also it has a great soundtrack although I don't think they actually released it (or at least a soundtrack that had more than classical music on it). Normally I'd be upset by this but I think I have all of those songs on my computer anyways.

Fuck! It's almost time for me to head to work.

I reaaaaaally really really want to go to Lollapalooza this year; Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, TV On The Radio, My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Ben Harper, Muse, Snow Patrol, Lupe Fiasco, The Roots... the list goes on for fucking ever! Those are definitely some of my favorite bands and I don't know if I could have done a better lineup for bands I need to see before I die (besides Modest Mouse who I crossed off the list like 3 years ago). Money is the only thing getting in my way!

I've been debating buying the new White Stripes CD for the past few days... I've never bought any of their albums but I bought a shitload of their best songs off of iTunes awhile ago. I'm a fan of their music big time (especially since they're from Michigan) but I'm still a little skeptical about buying it for some reason. I have waaay too many CDs anyways... wait, nevermind I don't think it's possible to own too many CDs. Yeah I'll probably buy it on my way home from waiting tables tonight.

Oh yeah, and my birthday is on Monday! I'm starting to get old... kinda.

Ok so I don't know if this bugs anyone else, but I get reaaaalllly annoyed when a band puts out a CD that is "unrippable". I realize they're trying to keep people from getting their music for free, but what about us who actually paid for the album? There has to be a way where I can listen to some of my favorite albums (like My Morning Jacket- Z, and Kings of Leon- Aha Shake Heartbreak) on my computer without having to put the CD in every time. Am I retarted or does this bug anyone else?

If you're anything like me you resort to the most depressing music you can find after a bad breakup (or in my case being dumped). It only makes things worse... so why do I keep listening? I think it also forces me to find new songs in search of that one perfect song that will capture the feeling to a T. At the same time I keep listening to "Trapeze Swinger" by Iron and Wine because 1. It might just be the most beautiful song ever written and 2. It reminds me of her, we used to slow dance to it in my room. Maybe I should switch over to angry music and just be an asshole to everyone... do you think that would make me feel better? All I know is I could definitely go see a kick ass concert right now, if I even had any money to begin with.
