"Avery" is the musical child of Andrew McFarland(Drums, Vocals), Joe Crabb(Keys), AJ Allen(Bass), Will George(Guitar), and Mason Wray(Guitar).They are heavily influenced by Bloc Party, Interpol, Modest Mouse, The Strokes, Decatur, walking on railroad tracks, blue gloves, Big K, Toast Chee, Costa Rica, Mr Eikoff, the punchy bang, homosexual vampires, and Winnona Park. Their musical careers as Averu began in the barbecue/blues joint "Maddy's" where they met Chicago Joe, who helped them to find their talented bassist AJ. Later they were joined by friend and guitarist Will, and it was not long until they were performing songs under the name "Avery".

If you ever see them in concert, watch out for the rabid letters, the short one at the end with the cowlick is fucking insane; he will punch you in the head and take your money. No worries if this happens though, all proceeds go to the Avery Mansion.
