Please forgive me if I'm a bit inaccurate because the stories vary on this particular piece of legend, but here goes......Once upon a time in the land of Cincinatti, there were 2 brothers known as Collins (Catfish and Bootsy, that is). From a tender age, it was discovered that they not only had a knack for playing great soul music in their band (The Pacesetters) but they also possessed an uncanny ablility to give up the very thing that was considered to be a *BAD WORD*.As it would happen, word eventually traveled to a far away land (known as Augusta GA.) and reached the ear of *THE GODFATHER*. Who, because he couldn't stand himself while doing the popcorn and feeling good in a man man man's world, made yon pilgrimage to check out the badass young minstels. You see *THE GODFATHER* was none too pleased with his current assembly of minstrels who had actively sought to acquire more and more of his riches.So what did *THE GODFATHER* do?He sacked his old crew of merry men and (in return)replaced them with The Pacesetters who magically transformed into The JB's! Whoopie!After 3 years, countless tours and many countries around yon globe, the JB's (Pacesetters) were a phenomenon worthy of legend. Yet, young Bootsy (who meanwhile had acquired a taste for the *Acid* potion) would some time clash with *THE GODFATHER* to dire results. One night, unknown to *THE GODFATHER*, Young Bootsy had a little too much of aforementioned poition and believed that he had conjured up spirits!While playing on stage!*Gasp!*The JB's were sacked! and dispatched back to the kindom of Cincinatti to wallow in despair...Now, the once JB's (former Pacesetter's if you're keeping score)transformed again into *HOUSEGUEST* and cut this here track..Sooooo....What happen to Houseguest you say?!Verily I say to thee...King George "chief cokehead" Clinton of the *Parliafunadelicment Thang* dispatched his flying saucer to beam them aboard the Mothership and...You know the rest...Have a wonderful holy day weekend y'all!!J-
