Was "Where is the love" by Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway. It still plays in my head from time to time with surprising clarity. Although I've been a fan of their various duets in the 70's, I hadn't really gotten into how great Donny was and more importantly how much of an earthy spiritual level he had to his music. For Example:What's surprised me even more is how he had that ability to take a song and make it his own. Take Jealous guy by John Lennon, for example and you'll see what I mean. Forgive me everyone, I'm just really getting into his artistry but I love what I'm finding out.J-

He was the SHIZNET!
So many artists have shared their love and respect for Donny Hathaway. His memory will live on for generations if his music is shared and loved.
His daughter is a singer too. Pure heaven. Obviously she learned well from her Dad. I met her when I was a teenager and she made a lasting impression on me for being someone who was sincere and real.
What is wild is that I did not realize that her father was THE Donny Hathaway until years later.
