I love this song. So much better with Buddy singing it.

He influenced such greats as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. I believe that The Beatles came up with that name thinking of The Crickets.

That Stones song is clearly a rip off of "Hand Jive" an old blues song! The Beatles, Stones & even Buddy Holly were all inspired & ripped off African American r & b & blues artists. So remember the true inspiration & sources for this music. Sure Buddy is great but there would not be any of these artists w/o the African American musicians who were the true innovators!
