Any fans of the Mighty Boosh will recognise these girls as part of Kraftwerk Orange (cue arm movement) but they are actually part of a proper, serious and really quite good band. (unfortunately Johnny Two Hats is not with them)Musically they are just as electronic as KO and have a sound similar to Chicks on Speed but.... well, good. Lyrically they sometimes stray towards Boosh territory and the whole sound of the band seems like what Julian and Noel would be like if they were musicians rather than comedians. Robots in Disguise describe themselves as "situated between Gainsbourg, Chicks On Speed and Kraftwerk and combine the attitude of The Slits with the versatility of Bowie, exquisitely produced by SNEAKER PIMPS' lead songwriter, Chris Corner (I Am X).
