SOUNDS OF FUTURE PAST AND PRESENT PERFECT

Liam Finn

Some songs seem perfectly suited to those lazy days where summer's last flurry slides into autumn. Some songs simply have a quality that makes you want to sit back and appreciate them, and everything that surrounds you. Liam Finn's Second Chance is one of those songs... I stumbled on it today, and its indescribable effervescence has me totally intoxicated:

This particular intoxication is contagious, I assure you.

And I love the video. Like someone dreaming of summer melting {or blowing} into autumn and spring at the same time.

This is perfect for this weather.  Even here, where summer usually comes a month later, it's been getting chilly and beautiful . . . and this fits perfectly.  I can see me driving with the windows down, listening to this as the cool breeze chills me just a bit.

It's funny but the weather here is perfect as well. Must be something in the air. Oh, the season, of course. And still, no matter how nice the warm days and crisp nights, my body keeps telling me that winter is coming. It's like this little voice yelling: "Death! Death!"I'm a spring person, I guess. Everything coming to life...

But no matter the weather, I love Liam Finn, and this song particularly with the raw sound. Thanks for the post!
