Wow, first post in awhile. Sorry y'all. Hard to keep up with school and everything. Been doing some more recording, some movie scoring, philosophizing, all that. Still doing radio; now I'm doing a prog rock show! Same time though, 2-4 PM PST on kzsc.orgIt's called "The Epic Battles of Past and Future." I'm proud of the title. Listen to it, I'm playing some seriously good shit!My inaugural p

OR: The weirdest playlist I have on my computer. One day about a year and a half ago, after downloading Deerhoof's "Apple O'" album, I wanted to find one of the songs to listen to, called "Panda Panda Panda." So, in the little search box on top of my iTunes, I typed in "Panda." It narrowed my library down to 8 songs...and I realized, "I have 8 songs that have Panda in the name?" That seemed much
So disappointed was I in the smashing of lemontwist's Ultimate MOG Mix project by outdated U.S. Copyright law that I have found all the MP3's in her compiled tracklist (sans two) and put them on my Multiply site.If you want to download UMM for yourself, you can find it here:"http://jorobot.multiply.com/music/item/68":http://jorobot.multiply.com/music/item/68I am still missing one track: "Time Forg
I'm listening to Rockabye Baby's lullaby tribute to Radiohead right now, and it's making me want to fall asleep. I guess that's the point...but it's not a very inspiring listen.I am going to play these for my kids 10 or so years from now, though. It's part of my evil plan to control their musical taste as adults. Every night for the first two years after they're born, they'll go to sleep to the

Just finished my second spin on The Rapture's new album, Pieces of the People We Love, and...urm. I'm a bit disappointed. On one hand, I admire their total commitment to the party vibe; just about every track here can light up a dancefloor, and it's all very fun. But there's been something lost, also. No slow songs here, none of the pindrop spareness of a track like "Open Up Your Heart"; the c
