Almost forgot, tune in to www.kzsc.org tomorrow at 4:00 PST to hear the latest episode of Pop Collisions. 4:00 to 5:00, a full album cover of Abbey Road; 5:00 to 6:00, I spotlight Mouse on Mars. It will be exciting.

  5. Jorobot says No worries, we stream online! (Click on the listen button on the main site.) But if you can’t wait, here’s a spoiler playlist (why can't I change the color of text in a comment? I can't make spoiler text! Scroll way down if you want the playlist.) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Come Together--Soundgarden Something – Martha and the Vandellas Maxwell’s Silver Hammer – Frankie Laine Oh! Darling – Graham Bonnet Octopus’s Garden – Nicotine I Want You (She’s So Heavy) – Noir Desir Here Comes The Sun – Nick Cave Because – Elliott Smith You Never Give Me Your Money – Bevis Frond Sun King – The Bee Gees Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam – Satantango She Came In Through The Bathroom Window – Joe Cocker Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End—Dream Theater (I couldn’t find “Her Majesty”, but close enough.) And, if you’re curious and looking for Abbey Road covers, “I Want You” has also been done by Eddie Hazel, 10 songs were done as jazz interpretations by George Benson on The Other Side of Abbey Road, Ben Folds does “Golden Slumbers” on the I am Sam soundtrack, Aerosmith did “Come Together”, and the whole ending medly plus “I Want You” got done live by Booker T and the MG’s. And it took me nearly 2 hours of continuous searching to find the Silver Hammer cover; I’m pretty sure it’s the only one that exists.
