Album: The Black Album
(67)

I just found a really cool 'not so new, but new to me' album that I can't stop listening to. If you are a big Dandy Warhols fan and you haven't had a chance to hear "The Black Album/Come on Feel The Dandy Warhols" you are missing out. I had heard about it from a friend and I finally bit the bullet and ordered it and it was worth every penny. It reminds me most of 'Dandys Rule! OK' and 'Come Down.' There are 2 disks (Disk 1 being 'The Black Album' and Disk 2 being 'Come on Feel The Dandy Warhols') Both have a tun of Dandy's songs I had never heard, and a couple of altered versions of songs like 'Minnesoter', 'Boys Better', and some cool covers including Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'Relax' (don't do it...when you wanna go.) If you are a Dandy's fan you need to get your hands of this. If your not a Dandy's fan, you probably won't like it because it's very very Dandy Warhols-ish. Lot's of cool layered harmonies and spaced out phycadelic sequences. It was one of those albums that after you get it, you say to yourself, "what was I waiting for? I wish I had gotten this sooner because it fucking rocks!" Has anyone else heard this album? What do you think?

Well sir, that's just dandy. I'm a big, if old, fan of the band, and I'm happy you're on board. Great post.
