i always wonder about these things. did anyone ever get in trouble for the Linda McCartney vocal mic leak? even if this one's real, it sounds like they did some punch-ins to make it worse.

Robin - It's more Halloween than Toxic. The Linda McCartney mic leak?? Don't know about that one. Though I've heard a couple of amusing stories about producers in the studio wrestling with how to phrase their comments over her recording efforts.

it was allegedly a tape released by the monitor mixer or someone "showcasing" Linda's vocals on "Hey Jude" live. another one of those questionable releases.
Well, yeah, this is pretty low-hanging fruit, if you';ll pardon the expression. And I think there can be little doubt that this casts an unfairly unpitying light on her voice. But Britney's songs have always been an excuse for the choreography....
Yes. It jarred me, who admired "Piece of Me," to hear here her voice, the central hidden core of such a huge stage show, be so ridiculous. Primo stuff, Jonh.
