The Enemy (Coventry, England)

Artist:
I had the great privilege to see one of the finest young bands around at the moment, The Enemy of Coventry, England, make their New York City debut this past Monday night, August 11th, with a stellar performance at Bowery Ballroom.
The Enemy, which is being billed as The Enemy UK here in America for some reason, are comprised of Tom Clarke on guitar and lead vocals, Andy Hopkins on bass and backing vocals, and Liam Watts on drums. Clarke is the band's primary songwriter. The Enemy just concluded a brief American tour to promote their debut album, which is titled We'll Live And Die In These Towns. The album, which did quite well upon its release in the band's native UK last year, was released in America near the end of last month.
The Enemy's show was excellent, as the band were firing on all cylinders and the crowd was going nuts for the entire show. Clarke promised that The Enemy will be back in America next year. If they come to your city on that tour, definitely go to see them. You will not be disappointed.

Glad to hear they were good live, thanks for the review.
I will most definitely see them when I have the chance.
Had Enough might be my personal favourite :)
Yeah, "Had Enough" must have sounded great loud and big......love the Bowery Ballroom. Tried to get those guys to open a west coast venue just like it, but no luck yet in that department.
This might be another good example of UK writing style and content. Will it pick up in America? Hope so.
