This is the original recording of the opera, from the late 1970's; a 1993 recording is also available (under "Robert Wilson"). The cast is almost identical, but there are differences; this recording is 30 minutes shorter than the other, for one. But this is the one I grew up listening to, and still seem to prefer it.
