For an investigative/advisory piece I am working on, I am looking to hear experiences of any kind relating to fake music promoters/publicists - victims, lawyers, musicians whose names were falsely used in some way, etc. I'd particularly love to hear from anyone who has (successfully or unsuccessfully) undertaken legal action against these characters.
