Camden Town, once London's heart of punk, nowadays a popular tourist spot, has been severely damaged by fire Saturday night (Feb 9th). The fire is believed to have ravaged part of Camden Market and the Hawley Arms pub (Amy Winehouse's local). As yet there is no news on whether anyone got hurt.
In recent years, Camden has seen major redevelopment, reviving the market and bringing back the music into the 'venues of old'. Let's hope they won't have to re-start from scratch.
