While purchasing tickets for Michael Penn's upcoming concert at Schubas, I noted that a band called "The Last Town Chorus" was opening. Because I don't know when I'll have time again, here is another selection that I appreciated from the mega-download from SXSW 2007.This is a band I was looking for, based on listening to the "Sound Opinions" that covered the festival. (Sound Opinions is an NPR talk-show on Saturdays that covers and reviews popular music. It's spotty, but still has enough good stuff to make it worth a listen.)...

Thanks to Golux, I too have been sifting through the massive offering from artists at this year's SXSW festival.
