My friend Mackenzie accidentally created a monster. Thanks to her, I have found myself staying up way too late tonight, listening to old field recordings of blues, folk, and country artists at www.venerablemusic.com, which has the most amazing streaming radio. Awesome. I should not be up this late again, as last night I was up until five a.m., watching Metal Mania on VH1 classic. Evil. My friend Robyn is right: Sebastian Bach truly did have cheekbones to die for. Reliving old videos I used to watch on MTV when I was a tot (Bon Jovi, Skid Row, Ratt, Def Leppard) truly made me feel old. Especially when a White Zombie video was aired. Jerks. I was really just hoping they would play a Poison video. Cici DeVille was my first rock crush. Unfortunately, "Nothing But A Good Time" was never aired. However, the framboise we were drinking was great and I had a yearning for spandex to come back into fashion. At least for men. Here's why:No one could rock the 'dex like David Lee. Nobody!!!
