MOG MOG

WHERE MUSIC IS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY

Have you already seen this? Someone probably already posted it, but I haven't scanned the mog-o-sphere today.

Everyone seems to pretty much like it, but it just pisses me off. Shut up!

OK, maybe I'm just really out of touch with the pop music scene in the USA, but what's with the freaky quintuplets in that vid?

quintuplets are the new triplets

Thank god for fertility drugs, eh?

smithco, this is a cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya!", and the video you're watching is the original vid for that song. Featuring a band whose members are all Andre 3000.

I don't mind it actually. s'aaight. I saw Twilight Singers earlier this year where Greg Dulli did a loungy version of Roses. "Roses really smell do-do-ooo-ooo"

ps. but i can see where it would get on ur nerves kinda. it's like the iron and wine remake or something...so sullen for such an upbeat song.

i'm with you on the post...and, i don't think i dig ''mash-ups'' of this or any sort that much.

What is fantra?

"fantra" is when something is really cheesy andit makes you cringe.

mash-ups i can dig, you know? in fact i like 'em a lot. and i'm fine with cover songs. but this style of music is just so.... ugh... like he eats a jar of paste every day for breakfast. not sad, just LAME.

on the other hand, lots of people love it. i know that's my personal taste, but i don't like whiny white-guy ballads. and it's even more offensive that he's playing what used to be a great song, and doing it note-for-note. nuts.

If it pisses you off so, why then repost it for others to view? I don't hate it but I do acknowledge it's just a weak cover of a fun song.

I think if he had put his own stank on it, if you will, it would've been a lot better.
