I love CMJ magazine for just this reason. Battles was featured on the complimentary cd included in the latest issue. I'm hooked. I doubt I will be able to get this song out of my head tomorrow. I'll be day dreaming about rhythmically moving mechanical arms and and brightly colored spinning gears all day.

It's been FAR too long since I've seen a show! So, after a three month hiatus, I finally attended one yesterday. Well, two shows actually. Limbeck came to Milwaukee and decided not only to play a night show at Mad Planet, but also an afternoon in-store at the Exclusive on Farwell. Both shows were great. Mates of State is even cuter as a threesome than they were as a duo. I'm a little behind on this news since I haven't visited their website for awhile, but better late than never I suppose. Perhaps my favorite feeling in the world is seeing a band live and being so moved by their performance that I actually tear up.
