It's been FAR too long since I've seen a show! So, after a three month hiatus, I finally attended one yesterday. Well, two shows actually. Limbeck came to Milwaukee and decided not only to play a night show at Mad Planet, but also an afternoon in-store at the Exclusive on Farwell. Both shows were great. The Exclusive show had surprisingly good sound, and it was free! The Mad Planet show was super fun with a great crowd. The band played a bunch of new songs, which sound great. They also changed things up a bit by adding steel guitar to all the songs in their set. Their new album comes out next month, and I'm really looking forward to hearing it.And speaking of upcoming releases... I can't wait for March 20th when Andrew Bird's new cd is due for release! I've heard one track off of it, and he sounds as fantastic as ever.
