I should probably say...

Artist:
I'm getting into the blogging world of music. I'm a Hype Machine addict. And now I want to write about what I like... even tho it's most likely that no one will read this, it's fine! ha.
A recent obsession : GREG LASWELL.

I only have half of his album, but from what I've heard I'm hooked. I heard about him due to his opening spot for Ingrid Michaelson on a recent tour.
The tunes are upbeat, yet his voice is calming. I'd say the lyrics are clever, relationship-driven, heartfelt and real. I'm a sucker for a good voice, catchy tune, and honest lyrics. So Greg and I immediately fit. It's inevitable that he'll grow in popularity, and his "How the Day Sounds" song is on the Paste Magazine sampler this month. I believe he's already been heard on Greys Anatomy and other TV shows... So now I wish I would've made it to his Philly show when I could have! (Greg-come to Tulsa?!)
Since "How the Day Sounds" is one of the more popular indie pop songs, I'll highlight "The One I Love." Check out "Days Go On" and the older Through Toledo album while you're at it.
Greg is definitely on constant repeat.

See? Someone read it. And now that same someone's gonna check him out. Thanks.
You should have posted the tune so we can hear it.
You should have gone to the Philly show, it was great!! I'm digging this track too. I also love "Embrace Me" from the How The Day Sounds EP. I wish I could find a live and/or acoustic version of it, because it was so incredibly beautiful and sad when he sang it in Philly.
Ironically, I just heard "How the Day Sounds" in this Wegman's I'm in. I wouldn't have heard it if I didn't stop to get something to eat. and I've never heard it played anywhere before. how funny! :)
He personally thanks you for this Mog exposure
