Golux13 and I went to the Wire show at Metro last month (yay!). While the show was quality, the duration was sadly lacking. With doors at 9pm and an opening band one might expect to still be enjoying live music at, say, 12:30 am. Chicago was, evidently, the last stop on the tour. The crowd was stupifyingly sedare. Another show I'm not seeing. Definitely not a trend of which I am a fan, that's for certain.Sons and Daughters played tonight at The Double Door. A raucous band at a really fun venue. Yeah. So my friend's band is playing at Six Flags Great America this Saturday (you should totally go, it would be so much fun!). I won't be there because, evidently, I'm a responsible adult with a family and a job. Bummer for me. An amusement park known for its roller coasters and a friend's band.
