I was listening to Love, Angel, Music, Baby tonight when it occurred to me I hadn't heard this song in ages. It is easily my favorite song on the Tragic Kingdom album. I was lucky to see No Doubt and Bush together in college when they were both en fuego.Some friends have been down lately, this one always pulls me up.

Sometimes a wave of everything seems to crest at once. This song rose to the top this week, and takes on meanings that it never did before. Despite my ownership status re: Suburbia, this dreamer and misfit isn't feeling so alone.

When this song came out, I sometimes would sit between the speakers and just scream it for all I was worth. Today in the cubicle it shuffled up, and I felt very repressed. IMing AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN is just not the same.Wherever you are, I hope you can crank it and scream as needed.
