No:480 BJORK - HOMOGENIC (1997)I guess everyone has their own personal favourite from the Icelandic siren. I've chosen two for my top 500 album countdown, and man was it tough! This album is just as experimental as anything from her back catalogue, but I always feel a lonely emotional element to many of the songs. I'm led to believe that it's partly due to her break up with musician Goldie, and many of the songs reflect a state unlike anything we'd heard before.

  2. Augusts1 says Definitely a great cd! Bjork always has the most innovative vids too. I love the song "Pluto" , it's one of my fav Bjork tracks w/her unhinged singing/yelping at the end & the frenetic techno style music. So cool! I love remixed versions of her songs too cause they often are so very different from the original that they become a whole new song.

  13. Jammy Jeff says Flowerpower - Don't worry about the Star Wars reference, for I too am a Jedi. August - I love the remixes on mix tapes. They always work great. RGM - Your Star Wars favourite ? Mine was The Empire Strikes Back. Alex - You've got the German keyboard setup. It's so much more professional with the umlauts.
