  1. Augusts1 says God what took Brett so long to go solo? Loved Suede though, they made some great music. Love his voice & that song. Wonder when it's to be released on this side of the pond? The Money Mark vid isn't working. Oh well! Thanks anyway.

  2. Jammy Jeff says August, That's weird. It's working on my laptop. I'll have to find a new link I think. Brett's still a member of a band (which he's put on hiatus), The Tears. The band brought him back together with original Suede guitarist Bernard Butler. They released an album "Here Comes The Tears" about 18 months ago. This glorious single came from it. "Lovers"

  3. Jammy Jeff says I can't find a release date for North America. Maybe the label are going to gauge it by demand in the UK first.

  4. Dale says After hearing "Positivity" and being turned off, I avoided The Tears, but that song was really good. I may have to check out the solo album.

  5. Jammy Jeff says Dale, The Tears album was a bit patchy and you were probably right in avoiding it. I'm looking forward to his solo album too .

  6. Augusts1 says The Money Mark vid is working now, guess it was just my puter, damnit! I did hear something about The Tears now that you bring it up. I like that song! I hope his solo gets released here soon. I don't know if The Tears did too well over here . . . I didn't hear anything about them until w/in the past year.

  7. Jammy Jeff says August I'm not sure, but I know that The Tears weren't half the success Suede were in the UK.

  8. Augusts1 says It's too bad they didn't just do that cd as another Suede album to get the word out more that they were back together. Great songwriting duo!

  9. armuller says I was just reading some early reviews on Brett Anderson's debut and it is not pretty. His "illustrious" career might be heading in the wrong direction. Pitchfork: 2.9/10 Ouch!!! Q Magazine: This is hollow, pretentious and deeply dull music. NME: 4/10
