The reviews I've seen for the new Bryan Ferry LP "Dylanesque" result in the greatest polarity of opinion I've seen in years. Some say a brave re-work, some a travesty to Dylan's songs. I haven't heard the album yet, so can't judge.I'd be interested to know other opinions from Moggers. Here's "Positively 4th Street"

I've heard the entire album and I think it's great. The video you show is a TV performance, not indicative of the album recordings. If you're a fan of Bryan's and Dylan's you love it. Bryan has been a Dylan fan since the beginning covering "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" on his first solo album. If you're only a Dylan fan you might not.

'Dylanesque' has been out in the UK since March, and Bryan is currently touring Europe for the album (I've been to see him 3 times this tour). I bought the album the day it came out and I was very impressed by it - I wasn't sure if I'd like it, as I'm not a great Dylan fan. But of course, Bryan does an excellent job!! He's in the US for a few days to promote the release of the album over there, but I'm not sure if he'll tour....he plays at the Diana concert on Sunday at Wembley, then re-starts the Europe tour.
The current tour is excellent, and he has a fantastic band with him!!
