X, and WHISPERTOWN 2000 joins Breeders line-up
for All Tomorrow's Parties May 2009!

Today sees the addition of six new artists to the two All Tomorrow's Parties festival weekends set to take place in May 2009 at Butlins Holiday Resort, Minehead, England. Tickets are on sale now for both events and are selling fast!

From the 8th - 10th May, The Fans Strike Back weekend will see half of the festival line-up chosen by ATP and the other half voted for by everyone that buys a ticket.

For the side of the bill voted for by the Fans, we're happy to announce that ERRORS, PARTS AND LABOR and JEFFREY LEWIS & THE JUNKYARD have now confirmed that they will play! So the bands voted for so far and confirmed are:

From the 15th - 17th May, ATP will be curated by the legendary BREEDERS. We are very pleased to be able to announce today the additions of legendary L.A. punk band X, featuring the original line-up of Billy Zoom/Exene Cervenka/John Doe/DJ Bonebrake! Another very exciting addition to the bill are acclaimed L.A. based indie rockers WHISPERTOWN 2000. Here's the line-up so far:

Butlins, Minehead looks out across a superb sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include a cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a huge wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.

Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 berths and offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. (£150 + booking fee per ticket)

Self Catering accommodation is available in 4, 6 and 7 berths and offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. (£160 + booking fee per ticket)

All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon, with around 40 acts set to play live across the weekend. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late, plus three nights in a self-catering chalet or room only accommodation all with private bathroom suites and TV's.

Butlins Holiday Resort Minehead, Somerset , TA24 5SH is located near Glastonbury.

By road: Heading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Resort is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre.

By train or rail: If you are travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033.
