Here Comes The Rain Again - (previously unreleased, live)
"I Am" (aka Chris) has been reminiscing lately, which has inspired me a little, too. I'm a child of the 80's, while my husband is a military brat of the 60's. His tastes are very eclectic and specific. I wish he were the type to blog at all, I guarantee he'd turn people on to music (new and old) that they'd never heard before.
Anyway, my point is I don't get to listen to the music I like. When I do get a chance, I'll turn on Majic 102.9, a local station that has the benefit of playing music from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Sometimes, it makes me nostalgic. that's the closest I can come to tying in I Am's nostalgia. :)
Moving right along, today's rains reminded me of the Eurythmics. Annie Lennox had ans till has one of the sexiest, most powerful voices in pop music. Pop nothing, the lyrics on all her songs are simply beautiful works of art.
So, in honor of this rainy day, I give you "Here Comes the Rain Again". Why not? It's just perfect. :)Edit: I found the link to it on You Tube. Unfortunately embedding was disabled by request, so if you want to hear and see it, you'll have to Click Here.

  1. deadmandeadman says Well yeah, but you gotta post the track. Nostalgia is nice, but sometimes its a tarp thrown over emotional tar pits.

  5. I am says Jag, I tune into 91.7 WMUH when I got that bug. 20 year diff with the hubby. My wife is just one year older then me. Our tastes run the same for the most part. Hers more pop oriented and mine, .... well it's just different than hers. Be it a pirate drinking song to an epic like '2112', what strikes me as listenable, may turn others stomach. Such is the variety of life. I got your back.

I gotta question for you. Where did you grow up?
