WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Radiohead Mastering New Album In NYC

Posted over 2 years ago
Radiohead have been in New York mastering their seventh album, according to a post at fan website Ateaseweb (www.ateaseweb.com).A Radiohead fan who goes by the name "the king left," posted on July 11 that during a listening party for Spoon's new album, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga at HiFi bar in NYC on July 10, Radiohead members Colin Greenwood and Ed O'Brien along with producer Nigel Godrich showed up and mingled with Spoon fans."They're in the city mastering the album," "the king left" wrote. "Then they're going to listen to it, see what they think. So, we're almost there, maybe."He added that later, apparently outside the club where people were smoking, when one of his friends asked Greenwood if a song called "Nude" would be on the new album, "Colin looked uncomfortable, said 'Heh heh, maybe, if we can do it right...' and slinked back inside. This was after Marty gave him a Camel Ultra Light, too. Some people, I tell you. Favors for favors my ass."

  2. Augusts1 says It's been waaaaay too long since "Hail To The Thief", so good to hear they're closing in on finishing a new one. It probably will be released Oct. or Nov. - I hope it won't be early next year though. Thanks for the update Costello.
