So I never saw myself as a blogger, not until I was introduced to the Mogster. I guess if I can blog about anything its about music and such that I love. And what a great idea, to make a facebook/myspace-esque page where people just connect to each other through their musical choices. And I feel that your music preferences can tell so much about who you are...and Mog is great b/c somewhat unfortunately you can't lie about what you're listening to and therefore who you are??? Hmmm maybe I'm getting too philisophical about this. I sound like I'm writing a freakin' essay in which I'm to "discuss the benefits of internet blogging and networking sites". I need to go to bed, I'm getting lame. I'll just say that I probably have more embarassing songs and artists on my Mog than I would like to admit to.But they all do something for me, whether its get me to smile or push me over the edge into the tears I've been fighting. And everyday I'm being introduced to new music. New music...one of the few things I've never hesitated to dive into. I love giving anything a chance and have such a wide range of tastes. And I love that feeling of finding a song/artist etc that you get hooked on and wonder how you lived before you had heard it. That has to happen to other people...that a song describes this feeling that you thought you had "felt" all the way through, that you knew it so well, and then you hear this song and you realize you never saw a situation that way, or that this four minute string of notes and words suddenly describes a moment you remember that you could never put into words before, and somehow this person who you don't know got it perfectly. Thats why I love music.
