It's been so long since I've been on here. It's almost as though I don't know where to start. My taste in music has really expanded. I think I'm going to start by updating my modules and things like that, and then delve into actually writing about bands - because I have a LOT more to write about now!

So I am pretty much freezing here, but what better way to warm up than tea and a little bit of quiet music? This is my list of music for stargazing inspired by an ACTUAL TRIP I took to go stargazing three days ago (Ok, I just went to a park, but who really cares? Just because it was cloudy and there's tons of light pollution... Look, beggars can't be choosers! And it's the THOUGHT that counts!)(No

Ahh... So, perhaps the insanity of the holiday is over. Dinner is done, the relatives have gone home, and the gifts have been unwrapped. The dishes are being cleaned, though, thankfully, not by myself, because I already took my turn at Thanksgiving. Plus, it's not my week to clean the dishes, anyways. So, I've just discovered a few new bands, which always makes me excited. The best part, thou

It almost feels like I'm a part of the music itself, swirling around on the stage. I suppose a large part of this is probably due to my balle

Some random factoids about the group Steely Dan: * Donald Fagan didn't originally want to sing for the group. In fact, he hates singing. * All of the instruments in each piece were solo recorded at studio sessions so that they could pick and choose the best of the best. Often times, the same parts were played over and over again by the same - or different - studio artists. * The beautiful harmony

I think I had kind of forgotten about Bobby McFerrin, seeing as how it was pushed to the back of my music collection, but I rediscovered it yesterday. I vaguely remember recieving it for a birthday some year... I think his music is actually some of my favorite. The difference of actually having a human voice "play" the music is phenominal. Especially with Hush. I know I tagged this under Sponta
