From the black water cypress swamps of North Florida my hometown boys are doing it again with the February release of their third LP "Country Ghetto" and Alligator Records debut. If you haven't heard these guys, and I doubt that you have, check them out. They represent Old Florida and the South that I know and Love. Their front porch gigin' minimalistic approach to music is very unique by today's standards. If you are a fan of Blues, Country, or R&B these guys might just be your new thing.

Oddly enough they've played a bunch up north. I've caught them 3 different times in the Detroit area. Once opening for Robert Randolph and the Family. I'm excited this year because I'll be in Jacksonville on business during their March homestand during which I hope to sneak off to a show.
