Plan BWent CD shopping today and managed to pick up the new album by Plan B - Who needs actions when you got words. Officially out on Monday.First impressions - different, an interesting combination of acoustic guitar and drum beats which is a refreshing change from samples and drum loops in fact there is a definite emphasis on the lyrics, then the guitar with the drum beat just keeping the time of the songs.The content in the songs is pretty Raw, he talks about some pretty graphic stuff: drugs anorexia, violence and other dark topics. To be honest though there is nothing on this album that is over and above what people were originally shocked by on the Slim Shady LP.Also Bought The Roots - Illadelph halflife, and 3 of the Fabriclive sessions by DJ Format, DJ Spinbad, and Deadly avenger. Not had chance to give them a proper listen yet but the roots is going to be a good album if it compares well to their later stuff. I also gave the Fabric sessions a brief listen in Virgin so I know I got the goods there too.J
