My digital music collection

Posted over 5 years ago
My digital music collection on MOG says that I'm a fan of Desmond Dekker, Pal Joey, Garth Brooks and Stevie Salas. None of which I've heard of, apart from Garth Brooks of course.Anyway, recently I've been listening a little bit to the new album by The Killers, Sam's Town. They are popular and thus underrated by other musicians I think. Of course they're no Frank Black or David Bowie, but an artist who writes a song like "All These Things That I've Done" cannot be without talent. The rest of the first album is no good though. The new one is alright, I think, definitely an improvement, although I'll have to give it a few more listens. "When You Were Young" is catchy, for sure.

  2. blueone51 says Ought to check out Desmond Dekker. He was one of the biggest lights in ska, rudeboy and early reggae. He’s best know for “Israelites” and his cover of Jimmy Cliff’s “You Get it if You Really Want”. Great voice, big talent. He died just last May.
