This site is such a headache so far...

ok 3 timesthis program has catalogued my collection and 3 times it decides it needs i recatalog it and what'swith the ugly color scheme brown and orange,yuck, not to mention that what I listen to never actually shows up on here. Last.Fm is so much more functional and useful, the only advantage this site has is being able to catalog all my MP3s and not just what I am listening to, well I know they are still in beta so hopefully it will improve but to even come close to competing with last.fm in my book it has to do way better.Anyway on a lighter note I discovered this crazy guy Cowboy Troy. "I Play Chicken" is like a stereotypical Jeff Foxworthy type redneck trying to do gangsta rap [maybe trailer park rap] He even calls it hick-hop lolOn the much more melancholy dreamy plane which is my usual musical sphere of choice I am loving Spokane,Coastal and the Transmissionary Six, really nice slow dreamy Folk music although the Transmissionary six is more folk rock and (compaitively) upbeat. Really good stuff...

    max says i'd say don't give up, we've got a cool little community starting here at MOG, i tihnk they're still ironing stuff out, i mean it's still in beta...you should defineteley go to the forums and let the guys at mog know, they always get back to you quickly and try ot help you out...haha i heard cowboy troy before, at first i thought it was funny, but then he kind of started to piss me off...hick-hop, sweet, i think that should be a myspace genre, i mean they added hyphy, didn't they?

    Killa says don't be a negative nancy, it works fine for the majority of people(it indexes my mp3s and i've never had an issue with it), there could very well be a few user-caused issues..? try the help forums if you need it. otherwise, go, and be merry at last.fm

    Heggs says I prefer Last.FM on many levels but don't forget Mog is still new. I think that's what I like about it- it's still a small community and hasn't turned into a place for 14 year olds to be annoying. Yet.

    Iridescence says Thanks for the comments . I will stick around , music commmunities like this are a great idea and there definately is room for more than one. I just wish I could get the client to work, it's frustrating. I have it trying to index my collection again,[I have a lot of songs so this takes hours].hopefully this time it will work and not just start all over again when it finishes LOL@the Cowboy Troy picture

    Iridescence says Well at least it is saving my catalog of songs finally and not constantly re-cataloging them . It's still not logging what i play but at least I can enter that manually. I wonder if it will keep track of the tracks I enter manually like it would would if the player was logging them, anyone know?
