Because life is more than Loud, Young and Snotty... I.e. Turbongro, The Deadboys and The Stooges..... I want to take this moment to talk about the man the legend Martin Denny...
Simply put there are times when all I want to hear is some nice soothing lounge music, and few did it better than Martian Denny.... there is a simple magic and bounce to his best work that still has the right swing and passion and drive that the best Rawk'n'Roll provides... When It comes to Instro music for me, there is Henry Mancini, Link Wray, a bunch of surf bands/ acts, a brace of swing jazz standards, The Forbidden Dimension, Raymond Scott and Martin Denny... who's instros do you dig?
