Crime Story

There's been some talk about TV themes lately, and that reminds me, can anyone tell me where I can find a copy of the version of Del Shannon's Runaway that was used on the TV show Crime Story? I love the original version of the song, but the one for the TV show has something of it's own, it one of the rare cases where a original artist re-records a tune and makes stand next to the original. I guess it's more like a cover of the original in that it changes the style of the song, where the original would fit easily in to a mix of 60's Garage Rock/ Nuggets style tunes, the re-recording would be at home with the mopey death cannon like Endless Sleep and Last Kiss....anyway if anyone can point me to where I can find that version...well let me know.
