Gravity's Rainbow

Posted almost 5 years ago
I just finished reading _Gravity's Rainbow_ (the book) and it almost makes me want to listen to _Gravity's Rainbow_ (the album). I'm not sure how much the most successful female rock vocalist of all time was rocking in 1993 though.

  2. Irate Boy says It kind of defies summary. The plot is ostensibly about an American soldier in WWII, and his involvement with V2 rockets. But it also deals with death, race and gender roles, sex, drugs, paranoia, conspiracies, corruption, corporate influence, music, theater, class, the roots of the cold war, etc, etc. It's a great book, but at almost 800 pages and 400 characters, it's a long haul to get through.
