A very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tori Amos! While as a guy I remain slightly embarrassed about my love for all things Tori, I nonetheless will use my MOG as a forum to wish her and her fam the best for the coming year and all the years to come. I can only imagine that the folks over at The Dent are going to party it up like it's 1999, but as for me, I'll throw on some Little Earthquakes, sit back and let the piano take me back.

20 bonus points to anyone who knows what song my lyric to the right comes from. It's a Tori, 'natch. No googling, and I think we can all be comfortable within the confines of the honor system.

Indiebass says What can I say? I love pianos, and I can't even remember why, but I purchased Under the Pink and took it home and it blew my mind. Little Earthquakes soon followed. I didn't know "popular" music could be that beautiful and powerful AND as someone who plinked away at the piano but never took it seriously, it really made me re-realize the AWESOMENESS of the piano. I didn't know you could rock it that hard. I've been an "ears with feet" ever since, but I can't tell you the mountain of *poo* I've taken over the years, just for being a guy.

Slicing says you're embarrassed by your deep love for tori amos?! tori amos is the (wo)man! i remember watching all her videos and crying because i couldn't go to the Lilith Fair.
