Saturday, July 26th: City of Water Day, all day. On 2008, paddlers, sailors, mariners and landlubbers from all over are converging on Governors Island for a celebration of our harbor and waterways! Come to the island by free ferry, kayak, boat or canoe and enjoy fishing, walking tours, music, historic boats and harbor tours, free paddling, free sailing, and food. Sponsored by the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance (www.mwa.org).
That's right Governors Island. Cody B. turned me on to this place 2 years ago.
If your interested in meeting up, give me a shout. I said with kids, right?
I ask you, why isn't there more 'Bongwater' on MOG?

My Trusted MOGs
I have forgotten about Bongwater for some time. Although I couldn't get into their covers album I did pick up on thier more perverse records "The Power of Pussy" in 1991 before the label went belly up.

Dang, we've already got something we've gotta do on the 26th. Sounds like a party to me. What watercraft do you plan to use to get there?
And the Bongwater is glorious....
My Trusted MOGs
wow that sounds like a lotta fun, Chris. Can't wait til Cooper is a bit older to get him in a canoe. Digging the bongwater too!
My Trusted MOGs
I think there's loads of bongwater in MOGgers homes - does that count ?!?
