I always pride myself on giving you something more, not just a track and a title. Tonite I couldn't do that. I know nothing about the Brentford Allstars. My usually crack research skills have failed me. I got nothing. Nothing except the Brentford Allstars were a studio band for the famous Studio 1 out Jamaica. If anyone has anything to add, please do.     Hermes says Very nice flow here. Listening to this the fourth time in a row. Minimalistic in instrumentation and theme. They seem to apply the dub principle on funk. Very interesting an funking. Kick the singer and the "higher situated" melody, concentrate on bass- and drum line. Does anybody know, when the first dub records were released? I just looked at Wikipedia and they say, that the "multi track technic" began in 1973, but Dub already existed before. Sadly me being a youngster, I know nothing about this group. But I have to get that, that's for sure.
