Possibly one of my favorite songs of all time…….

Posted almost 5 years ago
I can pinpoint the person who played this song for me (for the first time) so many years (22 or there about) ago.It was Chris Thomas from Anaheim (or there abouts), CA.Where ever you may be Chris. I wish you well and, Thank You. Oingo Boingo, Bauhaus and Gang of Four.As you can probably tell, I'm a noise junkie. Some say the beginning of the end. I say it was just the beginning.Just wait until I record Ism, Ed Gein's Car and The Headlickers. I'll show you noise.

  1. annnna says Twenty two years! Wow. I wonder if I'll still like the same music.

  2. I am says If your lucky annnna, you won't dislike it. I personally think that music tastes pretty much stay the same throughout your life. This is not to say one album or another will never find its' way into the old music bin between Mac Davis and Mitch Miller. I myself used to like.... (I'm ashamed to admit it) ELO. Today if I hear them it won't bother me. Yet at the same time I have nothing of theirs in my collection. I don't go out of my way to look for ELO stuff or even to go to a concert. I just had a funny thought. Older generations had their top 40. You know the "Lemon Sisters", "Artie Shaw", and whatnot. They still celebrate that music today. Will I be rocking out to "Expressway to Your Skull", and "Rock Lobster" when and if I reach my 80's? God I hope so, I really do.

  3. ZeppoNoir says God I love this song. I completely forgot about it until I picked up the Rhino collection "No Thanks! The 70's Punk Rebellion". So many gems in that box set. One of the best things I've added to my collection in quite a while. I agree with you about music tastes. Thank god it doesn't apply to clothing styles as well, or I'd still be wearing parachute pants and my skinny piano key tie. But you know what, if I could find pair of parachute pants that would fit me... I just might have to buy them.
