MELT-PROOF AND SCRATCH-RESISTANT

Afternoon .....

Posted 11 months ago

Well breakfast was fun. I'm stuffed to boot. Saw some 'high and tights' ei. Marines who picked up the donated toys. Of all the services I think the Marines have the coolest uniforms. They just 'pop' if you know what I mean.

The brake job is on hold right now as I wait for my wife to get home so I can go to the junk yard to pull a bolt that I had broke when I stepped on my wrench for leverage. The temp outside is a balmy 30 degrees and my hands are hurting from holding cool steel for more then 15 minutes at a time. This is my break. A cuppa Earl Grey and posting.

I got a good amount of wood split and the house looks passable. Soon I'll get out of here and Tami will start the tree decorating.

I got some breakfast pics that I will post this evening.

I wish I had some time for a nap, but not today. See you around 6 ish. I think I'm cooking dinner tonight.

30 degrees?  Sheesh!  It's 59 here and I'm wishing it was a tad warmer, so I didn't have to put shoes on when I went outside.

Checking in here at around 60 degrees, and you won't find me complaining as I grew up on the right coast, with plenty of snow, etc. Be well.

hey, we had some flurries.... blowing the leaves around here.  We have a landscaping company coming on Monday to dig and fix some drainage issues, but the area was buried under the leaves of our 50+ trees.  I love the trees but damn I wish we had some evergreens.  Stay warm!

To answer the burning question, cheesesteaks ala Chris. We have a sauce from Bethlehem that is a local institution. Onion potatoes and broclicci. No reservations required by wine/beer is mandatory if your eating my food.

Hey it's the least you could do.

Flurries just started in my area to Chris. Stay warm? You got it. All the wood Baylor and I chopped today should be enough for the next week. Poor kid is pooped.

Chris, my name and brake jobs in poor weather are synonomous, I can remember building a makeshift tent along the side of the car. 30 here as well, with an inch of ground cover. we've got about a 30 degree incline on the drive, so i'm off to clean it again. keep those cheesesteaks hot...

That explains why my manual has two different methods.

The right way and the Scott C. way.

    Go figure.

Ha, excellent slice of your day. When I go junkyard, I always go with Tom Waits (late period or The Junk Yard Band◄

We got a little sprinkle of snow in Brooklyn last night and had a rare fancy dinner to celebrate a foodies 60th..

It was good but I might have preferred the cheessteak.
